A new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s multi-award winning musical is returning to The London Palladium in summer 2019 for a strictly limited run!

Released as a concept album in 1969, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has become one of the world's most iconic musicals, featuring songs that have gone on to become pop and musical theatre standards, including Any Dream Will Do and Go Go Go Joseph.

With poetic precision, rich humour and an extraordinary emotional force, Betrayal charts a compelling seven-year romance, thrillingly captured in reverse chronological order. The complexi-ties of the human heart are explored in this, “the greatest, and the most moving, of all Pinter’s plays” (The Daily Telegraph). Betrayal was first produced by the National Theatre in 1978. The orig-inal cast featured Pinter at the Pinter company members Penelope Wilton and Michael Gambon. 

Following his success with The Encounter at the Barbican, Simon McBurney’s five-star production of The Magic Flute returns to ENO, concerning the search for truth and reason, love and enlightenment.

After a sold-out run, Follies, winner of the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, returns in 2019.

Miguel de Cervantes, failed playwright, poet and tax collector, has been thrown in jail by the Spanish Inquisition for daring to tax a monastery.

Awaiting trial Cervantes is hailed before a kangaroo court of his fellow prisoners; thieves, cutthroats and trollops who propose to confiscate his meagre possessions one of which is the uncompleted manuscript of a novel called “Don Quixote.” Cervantes, seeking to save it, proposes to offer a novel defence in the form of entertainment.

As Cervantes and his servant transform into Don Quixote & Sancho Panza, his wild imagination leads them into a campaign to restore the age of chivalry, to battle evil and right all wrongs.

On Sunday 12 May 2019 at London’s Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, there will be two concerts of The Best of… Rock Musicals for the benefit of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust.  It will be the 2oth Anniversary production from the same team who for the last 19 years have presented The Night of 1000 Voices at the Royal Albert Hall and elsewhere.

Hosted by Sir Tim Rice, The Best of… Rock Musicals will feature New York’s Adam Pascal (Rent); Europe’s Adrianna Hicks (The Color Purple), Kristina Love (Tina) and David Michael Johnson (Jesus Christ Superstar); and London’s Kerry Ellis (Wicked) together with a host of Broadway and West End talent, the West End Chorus, the City of London Philharmonic AllStars and some very special surprise guests.

Oli arrives at the door of Marianne, a now-forgotten sci-fi TV icon, impatient to make an impression, to make a friend. Marianne, a jobbing actress, knows about waiting – for the phone to ring, for her best friend to see her differently, for her turn at something more substantial than a half-remembered role on a cult TV show. He wants an autograph; she doesn’t want anything from him - or so she thinks. Yet as they start to explore each other’s worlds, they begin to discover what every good relationship needs: time and space.

As humans propel themselves towards the “the singularity,” the theoretical point when humans and technology converge, Dutch choreographer and digital designer David Middendorp explores the rapidly fading boundaries between fantasy and reality as they are blurred by an increasingly virtual world.

Live dancers perform alongside animations, projections and flying drones. Middendorp unites humans and technology in five pieces that defy gravity, twist perspective and make use of illusion to question reality.

For 16 weeks only, Cameron Mackintosh's production of Boublil and Schönberg's LES MISÉRABLES will star Michael Ball (Javert), Alfie Boe (Jean Valjean), Carrie Hope Fletcher (Fantine) and Matt Lucas (Thénardier) in a spectacular and intimate staging of the legendary concert previously seen in London at the Royal Albert Hall and The O2. Katy Secombe also joins to play Madame Thénardier and for three performances a week, the role of Jean Valjean will be played by John Owen-Jones.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play SWEAT by Lynn Nottage is transferring to the West End's Gielgud Theatre for 50 performances only following a sold-out run at the Donmar Warehouse.
